The North-West Dispatching Center was put into operation

Simultaneously with the visit of the President and the Minister of Energy to East Azarbaijan province, the Dispatching Center of the Northwest region was put into operation in the form of video conference.a

The Northwest Regional Dispatching Center project on a land area of ​​1000 square meters with a monitoring capacity of 72 high voltage substations and with the purpose of monitoring and controlling the electricity network connected to the countries of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Armenia, the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan Azerbaijan, soon the Russian Federation and also network monitoring and control The electricity in the northwest of the country is at the level of East Azarbaijan, West Azarbaijan and Ardabil provinces with an investment of 130 billion.

Another goal of this project is to connect to the national dispatching centers and super distribution control centers, increase the reliability of the regional power grid and prevent unwanted blackouts, manage the regional load and peak load, and reduce the losses of the transmission network.
